公gōng叔shū文wén子zǐ之zhī臣chén，大dà夫fū僎zhuàn，与yǔ文wén子zǐ同tóng升shēng诸zhū公gōng。子zǐ闻wén之zhī曰yuē，可kě以yǐ为wéi文wén矣yǐ。

公叔文子的家臣大夫僎，由文子推荐，和文子一同做了国家的大臣。孔子听到这件事，说：公叔文子可以称为文了。

James Legge Translation

1. The great officer, Hsien, who had been family-minister to Kung-shu Wan, ascended to the prince's court in company with Wan. 2. The Master, having heard of it, said, "He deserved to be considered wan (the accomplished)."
