子zǐ曰yuē，由yóu，诲huì女rǔ知zhī之zhī乎hū，知zhī之zhī为wéi知zhī之zhī，不bù知zhī为wéi不bù知zhī，是shì知zhì也yě。

孔子说：由啊，我教你什么是知道吧。知道就是承认自己知道，不知道就是承认自己不知道，这才是真正的知道。

The Master said, "Yu, shall I teach you what knowledge is? When you know a thing, to hold that you know it; and when you do not know a thing, to allow that you do not know it;—this is knowledge."
