问wèn人rén于yú他tā邦bāng，再zài拜bài而ér送sòng之zhī。康kāng子zǐ馈kuì药yào，拜bài而ér受shòu之zhī，曰yuē，丘mǒu未wèi达dá，不bù敢gǎn尝cháng。

James Legge Translation

1. When he was sending complimentary inquiries to any one in another State, he bowed twice as he escorted the messenger away. 2. Chi K'ang having sent him a present of physic, he bowed and received it, saying, "I do not know it. I dare not taste it."
